About Us

We have created a safe, comfortable and luxury dog car seat, that prioritises sustainability and is entirely designed and manufactured in the UK.

With the arrival of our son Milo, it became apparent that my Long-haired Miniature Dachshund, Winnie (the Slinker), could no longer have free rein of the backseat, for risk of what we now call "licky-face". We started looking into dog car seats and were really disappointed by the selection available. Not only were they not pretty enough for a well-travelled four-legged friend, but they were poor quality and made cheaply abroad. We bought the best one we could find and when it arrived, we were disappointed yet again to realise it wasn't even particularly safe for Winnie.

It was at this point that the idea for Where's Winnie was born. We wanted to create a safe, comfortable and luxury car seat for you and your dog, so that your four-legged members of the family can travel safely and happily in the car with you, whether it be on a staycation, for a walk or just a quick trip down to the shops. 

Coincidentally, during our car seat research we were reminded that the Highway Code in the UK states that dogs must be restrained in a car so that they cannot distract you while you are driving, or injure you, or themselves, if you stop quickly. You wouldn't dream of driving anywhere without a seatbelt on, so why let your dog travel in an unsafe way? 

We value quality and prioritise sustainability. We are incredibly proud that all of our car seats are made locally to us in London and we regularly visit our factory to say hello to the team.
